Don’t let that lovely tarot deck collect dust on a shelf – it’s time to get reading! In this course, we’ll explore the language of tarot, and how to use it as a tool for self-inquiry and insight. You’ll learn techniques and methods to intuitively read your cards, with no memorization of encyclopedic card meanings required.
Will we be learning how to predict the future, talk to spirits, or do psychic readings? Nope! In this class we’re working with tarot as an access point to inner wisdom, personal meaning, and clarity.
If you’re unable to attend all the sessions live, not to worry! A recording of each class will be available.
Over three progressive classes, you’ll learn:
The difference between tarot and oracle cards
How to choose a deck and foster your relationship with it
The structure of tarot, and what the Major and Minor Arcana are all about
Formulating strong questions for tarot
Calculating your birth card (and other amusing party tricks)
A set of simple tarot spreads to kick start your practice
Resources for further exploration and study
There will be time for you to practice slinging the cards during class, with take-home skill building activities between sessions.
